Lost Woods is an original scripted short film by commercial and documentary filmmaker Ben Hagarty. Co-written by Ben and writer Shawn Skadburg, this is the first narrative film by Ben’s production company, not about us. Shot over one weekend in Cedar Falls, Iowa during the annual Lost Woods music festival, the story follows the emotional highs and sacrifices of chasing a dream. When faced with the impossible decision to choose between passion or love, sometimes the choice is made for us.

In partnership with and supported by Canon USA, we also produced a “Making Of/BTS” documentary to highlight how Ben challenged himself to capture the entire film, with Canon’s newest RF24mm F1.4 L VCM and RF50mm F1.4 L VCM lenses.

As not about us’ in-house Producer, I supported in the creative development, production, and post-production of the short and BTS documentary.
