The 2020 MTV VMAs went entirely virtual for the first time due to the COVID pandemic. Canadian artist Tate McRae was nominated for Best New Artist, and all performances were pre-recorded ahead of the broadcast. Working alongside Producer Stephanie Hooker, I supported production that shot on location in Toronto, but uniquely had the director, client, and DP all connecting remotely from the US and UK.
